EASI and Warehouse 3Nineteen to host “Hats and Horses” Event
If you enjoy big floppy hats, mint juleps, and are looking for an excuse to don that seer sucker suit, you are invited to “Hats and Horses”, a Kentucky Derby Day benefit for EASI.The event will be cohosted by EASI and Warehouse 3Nineteen on Saturday, May 7 at 1:00 PM with the 142nd Kentucky Derby beginning at 5:34. The event will take place at Warehouse 3Nineteen in courthouse square of historic downtown Jasper.Although there is no cover charge for the event, guests will be able to enjoy live music, contests, raffles, southern style cuisine, and refreshments including mint juleps, all guided by the event host, Bill Young. One lucky winner will take home a Yeti Cooler packed with Kentucky’s finest bourbon.All proceeds will benefit the local nonprofit EASI (Equines Assisting Special Individuals). EASI offers equine therapeutic riding and assisted activities for people with disabilities and special needs.
