Jasper, AL – Local attorney Allison Medlock Jones has recently fulfilled her dream of owning her own law firm. After ten years of learning from experienced attorneys, Jones is eager to see her vision of an independent, female law firm come true. She will continue to focus on the same areas of law and provide high quality representation, but at her new location on 19^th Street in downtown Jasper.Jones grew up in Pleasant Grove, Alabama. She received her Bachelor’s Degree of Social Work in 2001 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and her law degree from the Birmingham School of Law in 2007. Prior to law school, Jones worked as a Foster Care Social Worker at the Jefferson County Department of Human Resources.Since her move to Jasper in 2008, Jones has been expanding not only her experience in law, but also her family. She married Trent Jones in 2005 and the couple has two children, Elliott (8) and Keller (4).  According to Jones, the timing could not have been any better for the transition, “I’m still young, but my kids are in school; this was the ideal time for me to step out on my own.”Jones strives for her clients to view her as “approachable and easy to talk to, while getting the job done” in her new setting.
