Walker Women’s Specialists to Hold Open House at New Location

Jasper, AL – Established by women for women, Walker Women’s Specialists (WWS) is now serving patients in a new state-of-the-art facility located behind Brookwood (Walker) Baptist Hospital. On Thursday, May 11 from 4:30 -7:00 PM the doctors of WWS invite the community to celebrate their new location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house.WWS is comprised of three physicians, Dr. LoRissia Autery, Dr. Bridget Brunner, Dr. Talia Gates and an Office Manager Linda Thaler. They also have an excellent staff who aid in caring for the people of Walker County and surrounding areas.As of Monday, April 24, WWS is no longer treating patients in the Medical Arts Tower of Walker Baptist Medical Center, but in a separate building located behind the hospital. The office includes high-tech patient rooms and a living space for the doctors when they are on call. Dr. Talia Gates says, "We could not be more excited to have this facility here. Our practice is dedicated to women's health in Walker County and surrounding areas."The women are excited to be practicing in their new office and extend an invite to their open house to the community. On May 11 at 4:30 PM, the Walker County Chamber of Commerce will administer a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The open house will begin immediately after at 5:00 PM. Guests will be able to visit with the doctors, tour the new facility, and enjoy light snacks provided by Michelle’s Bakery and Café. The event will be hosted by Blanton Media Group.Doctors Autery, Brunner, and Gates take pride in the fact that they serve the community in which they live. Each doctor resides in Walker County and are raising their families here locally.  Dr. Bridget Brunner says, "We are proud to be residents of Walker County and involved with our community.
