Walker College Foundation plans event for Walker College & BSCC-Walker College Campus alumni athletes

Jasper, AL – After a six-year break, Bevill State Community College (BSCC) athletics is back! On Thursday, November 2, Bevill will open the season versus Coastal Alabama in the Clem-Robertson Classic, held at Glen Clem Gym at 7:00 PM. Before the game, the Walker College Foundation will host a pre-game alumni gathering for former Walker College and Bevill State-Walker College Campus athletes.The alumni event will be held at the WCF office at 1501 Gamble Avenue in Jasper and will begin at 5:00 PM. Former athletes are welcome to stop by, spend time with friends before the game, and then take a short walk across campus to attend the Clem-Robertson Classic at 7:00 PM. A short presentation will recognize the successful coaching career of the late Coach Glen Clem and his former players, as well as any other alumni athletes who attend.WCF Executive Director Holly Trawick said, “This game is a wonderful way to celebrate the memory of Coach Glen Clem and his outstanding career as a coach and mentor. His former players have shared so many memories with us.
