Tuscaloosa, AL – Unique, fun, and fresh, Farm Bowl + Juice Company will be opening later this year at 1470 Northbank Pkwy, Tuscaloosa, AL 35406. It will be one of the few places in Tuscaloosa to serve acai bowls, oatmeal bowls, cold-pressed juices, and smoothies, an increasingly popular way to consume nutrition through plant-based foods.Founders David and Andrea Snyder are no strangers to success in the restaurant industry. The Snyder’s also founded Urban Cookhouse, which has locations throughout the southeast including a location in Tuscaloosa in the same center where FB+J will be located. Similar to Urban Cookhouse, Farm Bowl + Juice Co. uses the freshest ingredients from locally owned companies and supports the local farmer.“At our restaurants, we focus on buying as many inseason ingredients grown in our state whenever possible. Purchasing from local farms will sustain those farming jobs, which is very important to us,” says Andrea Snyder.Farm Bowl + Juice Co. intends to enlighten its customers about the benefits of plant-based foods and the goodness of their ingredients, specifically within the acai berry. A large part of Farm Bowl + Juice Co’s popularity in Birmingham has come from its Instagrammable menu and building aesthetics.“We have been blown away by how many people come here just to take pictures on our swings or in front of our mural. From professional bloggers and photographers to amateur Snapchatters, FB+J has become a staple in people’s social media feeds. We are designing the Tuscaloosa location with that in mind and can’t wait to show off how fun the space can be for meeting friends over a bowl or cup of coffee,” says Vince Hunter who will be overseeing operations of the restaurant.Farm Bowl + Juice Co. will also include a kids menu. “Healthier options are often left out on kids menus. We want kids to be able to consume plant-based nutrition in a fun and exciting way,” says Brittany Gentry, catering sales manager for FB+J. The location will have a drive-thru pick up window as well, giving customers the option to call ahead and drive thru to pick up orders at their convenience. 78 For more info, visit the web address: www.farmbowlandjuiceco.com
