78 Featured Athletes – Tryneti Chatman and Ella Lynn – Jasper High School
The Senior Class at Jasper High School is full of talented individuals who excel in both the classroom and in athletics. Two of the shining stars on campus are Tryneti Chatman and Ella Lynn, both of whom have a 3.5 GPA in the classroom and are set to graduate next May. Let’s take a closer look at these two scholar athletes:
Tryneti Chatman
If you are unfamiliar with the volleyball term “libero,” please allow Tryneti Chatman to explain it to you. In short, a libero is often the best defensive player on the team. For JHS, that person is Tryneti Chatman.
Tryneti plays volleyball for head coach Bobby Daniels. She is the daughter of Rosa and Fred Webb. She is involved in Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and after graduation plans to get a degree in the medical field.
Ella Lynn
Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi, will welcome a talented swimmer from Jasper next season, Ella Lynn. At the pool, Ella competes in the breaststroke, individual medley, and the butterfly. Her parents are Jason and Leigh Lynn and she is coached by Katie Oliver.
Ella says her favorite subject is science, and she plans to major in biology at Delta State.
Please congratulate these two exceptional student athletes at Jasper High School! 78
