78 Featured Athletes: Alli Swindle and Brannon Lugo, Cordova High School

We return to Blue Devil Country this week for our newest installment of 78 Featured Athletes. 

This week we recognize Alli Swindle and Brannon Lugo of Cordova High School. Let’s find out a little more about these two student athletes.

Alli Swindle 

Alli Swindle is a Cordova High School junior who’s already showing signs of a promising future. Alli has a 4.1 GPA, is active in SGA, Beta Club, and the National Honor Society, and her favorite subject is science. She is a #1 cross-country runner under Coach Craig Hendon and runs the 800, 1600, and 3200 meter outdoor/indoor track. 

After she graduates in 2023, she plans to go to college and become a registered nurse. 

Alli’s parents are Lannette and Brian Swindle.

Brannon Lugo 

Brannon Lugo is also a Blue Devil junior and a #1 boys’ runner in cross-country under Coach Craig Hendon. Brannon runs the 400, 800, 1600, and 3200 meter in outdoor/indoor track.

He is a member of the National Honor Society, has a 3.9 GPA, and his favorite subject is math. After graduation, he wants to run cross country/track in college. 

Brannon’s parents are Jorge and Donna Lugo.
