Vikings set for golf tournament fundraiser at Musgrove

JASPER, Ala. – On Friday, March 19, the Jasper Viking Quarterback Club will host the 2nd Annual Viking Scramble at Musgrove Country Club in Jasper. Tournament cost is $125 per player or $500 per team, and includes a golf cart, 18 holes of golf, and lunch. 

“Last year’s tournament was cancelled due to Covid concerns, so we are glad to be renewing this fundraiser this year,” said Viking head coach Philip Bailey. “We are looking forward to a great turnout and a competitive tournament.” 

Lunch will be held at 11:00 a.m. on the day of the tournament and play will immediately follow. Participants will have a number of chances to win contests throughout the day, including a hole-in-one contest sponsored by Carl Cannon Chevrolet, a putting contest, long drive, and closest to the pin on all par 3’s. Tournament winners will receive pro shop credit, and tee sponsorships are available for $100.
