78 Featured Athletes – Lilly Werling and Levi O’Neal – Cordova High

The spotlight shines on Cordova High School for the week of July 12!

Today we visited the home of the Blue Devils and met two exceptional scholar-athletes, Lilly Werling and Levi O’Neal.

Here’s a little more about them:

Lilly Werling

This rising senior for the Blue Devils plays three sports—volleyball, basketball, and softball—and also carries a 4.0 G.P.A. in the classroom. Lilly plays outside on the volleyball team, center for the basketball team, and first base for the softball team. She is coached in volleyball by Heather Williams, in basketball by Randy Stracner, and in softball by Brandon Millican.

Lilly is the daughter of Robby Werling and Tasha Murphy.

She is also involved in campus, participating in the Beta Club and National Honor Society.

She says her favorite subject is math and after graduation in May of 2022, she plans to play college softball and study math.

Levi O’Neal

“I plan to go to school to be a pipeline welder with the hope to one day have my own shop,” says Levi O’Neal, who, as a rising senior at Cordova, already has his mind set on his dreams.

A guard on the football team, Levi will play for head coach Shane Smothers in the fall of 2022.

He says his favorite subject is math and he carries a 3.0 G.P.A. in the classroom.

Levi is the son of Brenda O’Neal.

Please congratulate these scholar-athletes for being this week’s 78 Magazine Featured Athletes! 78
