78 Featured Athletes - Traci Pettus and Dalton Dockins - Jasper High School
There’s no shortage of personality and spunk between Traci Pettus and Dalton Dockins, our 78 Featured Athletes from Jasper High School. Let’s learn a little more about these two wonderful scholar-athletes:
Traci Pettus
The daughter of Sonja Pettus, Traci will be a senior at Jasper High School this upcoming year. She carries a 4.3 GPA in the classroom and is involved in several school activities, including Student Council, Beta Club, Mu Alpha Theta, MAC Scholars, National Honor Society, Yearbook, Jasper High Ambassadors, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).
Traci is a two-sport athlete, excelling in both cross-country and track. Her coaches are Caroline Kamplain and Patrick Darwin.
After graduation in May 2022, Traci plans to study interior design. “I want to be an interior designer and real estate broker,” she says.
Dalton Dockins
Whether he’s blocking for a running back or hitting home runs, Dalton Dockins is certain to make an impression on the field. He’s one of the favorites of his teammates as well. But don’t peg him as just an athlete. With a 3.79 GPA, he’s a good student as well.
The son of James and Tracey Dockins, Dalton is involved in campus activities like Mu Alpha Theta and the National Honor Society.
He plays center on the football team for head coach Philip Bailey and DH/first base on the baseball team for head coach Patrick Ware.
After graduation in May, he plans to play college football and obtain a nursing degree.
Please congratulate Traci and Dalton, this week’s 78 Featured Athletes! 78
