Fall is in the Air! A seasonal Q&A with The Plantique by Professional Landscaping

As the weather cools down and the leaves begin to change, patrons are flocking to garden centers to stock up on plants and decor to enhance their outdoor spaces.
We sat down with our friends at The Plantique by Professional Landscaping to ask them some questions about fall and what we can expect to see from them this season.
78: What are your best tips for keeping outdoor spaces lively and vibrant during the fall season?
The Plantique: Color, color, and more color! Everything tends to start going bland and dull during the fall, so bringing color to your outdoor spaces is key for keeping them vibrant. A good way to bring some color in the fall is planting pansies and violas, both of which will last you into early summer if they're properly cared for. Decorative containers and pottery and yard decor are also great for bringing life to an outdoor space in any season, and firepits are especially charming and useful in the cooler months.
78: What can shoppers expect from The Plantique and Professional Landscaping this season?
The Plantique: First and foremost - pumpkins! We have over twenty varieties of pumpkins and gourds in stock right now. We also have cornstalks and wheat straw bales, which we prefer over hay bales because they have a richer color, hold together better, and keep their look longer. We also just got a shipment of pansies, violas, ornamental cabbage and kale, and we have our newest big addition that we're really excited about - metal storage buildings. Also, we want everyone to remember that you can bring your containers and planters here to us and we'll plant or replant for you, and we're here to offer advice on things to buy or ways to style the things you buy so your yard can be the best looking on the block!
78: Now through the end of the year, The Plantique has a second location at "Flo", Jasper Main Street's business incubator pod. How is your residence at the Pod benefitting customers and their experience with The Plantique?
The Plantique: Having the downtown location makes our offerings more accessible, but it also helps us reach even more people. Product wise, think of the Pod as a sampler platter for what is available at The Plantique and Professional Landscaping. Experience wise, it's really important to us that we are creating opportunities for more and more people to get involved and have fun in the community. At the Pod, we're hosting lunch and learn classes, activity nights, and other events that are family friendly and in the heart of Downtown Jasper's entertainment district, and we're looking forward to partnering with other organizations in the community so we can continue engaging with more people and growing in and with our community! 78
The Plantique by Professional Landscaping Inc. is located at 2223 N Airport Rd. in Jasper. They are open Monday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Plantique at Flo (322 W 19 Street) is open Wednesday-Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
