NWAMHC Golf Scramble Set for November 4 at Musgrove

Registration is now open for Northwest Alabama Mental Health Center (NWAMHC)’s thirty-seventh annual benefit golf tournament, which will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022 at Musgrove Country Club in Jasper. Participants will compete in a 4-person, 18-hole scramble with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Haig Wright, President of Byars|Wright Insurance, will serve as the tournament’s chairperson.

NWAMHC’s benefit is the longest running nonprofit organization golf tournament in Walker County.

"At Northwest Alabama Mental Health Center, our goal is to create a profound impact on the behavioral health of our clients, and allowing them to address their recovery in a meaningful way. Because of that, proceeds from this year's tournament will make improvements to residential programs and support holiday celebrations for our clients, allowing us to help and uplift them at one of the most important times of the year," says Rodney Battles, Executive Director of NWAMHC.

Entry fee for the tournament is $125 per person or $500 per team. Individuals without four-person teams will be paired with other players.

T-gifts and contest prizes include: Flight Prizes 1st Flight - $100, and 2nd Flight – Pro Shop Gift Certificate, Longest Drive, Closest to the Hole - Golf Club, and a Putting Contest - $100.

Eight levels of sponsorship for the tournament range from $100 - $2,500, with each increasing level providing additional sponsor recognition.
