Viking Scramble Set for March 18 at Musgrove

The Jasper Viking Quarterback Club will be hosting the 3rd Annual Viking Scramble golf tournament at Musgrove Country Club on Friday, March 18. Lunch will be provided, beginning at 11 am., and the tournament will begin at 12 p.m. with a shotgun start.

Jasper head football coach Philip Bailey anticipates a huge turnout. “The golf tournament is something you always circle on your calendar each year because it’s such a fun event,” said Bailey. “We had great community response last year, and we anticipate several teams for this year’s competition.”

Prizes will be given for 1st and 2nd place winners, and various contests will be held throughout the day, including long drive, putting, closest to the pin, and a hole-in-one contest.

The cost to enter is $500 per team and corporate sponsorships are $100 each. Each team will receive a team photo.

To register or to purchase a sponsorship, please contact Philip Bailey at pbailey@jasper.k12.al.us.
