Sharon Dial was having trouble finding clothes for her three grandchildren. But instead of complaining about it, Sharon decided to do something bold.

Enter Free Spirit Children's Clothing & Accessories.

Located at 1301 Highway 78 East, Suite 206 in Jasper next to the old Moore’s Landing space, Free Spirit is a children’s store that is the perfect blend between a gift store and boutique.

Free Spirit offers many of the top brands: Itsy Ritzy, Feltman Brothers, Magnolia Baby, and Footmates, and prices range from $10 and up. And whether it's monogramming that perfect gift or you're searching for a diaper bag that you can pass down through generations, Free Spirit has it.

The inspiration for the store's name, Sharon says, came from Sharon’s father, who used to call Dial a “free spirit.”

"Free Spirit allows you to have a true free spirit vibe while delivering a unique twist on styles and brands that you could before only access online or in a different county,” Sharon said. “Free spirit offers a laid-back and fun shopping environment while we get to learn a little bit about you, your family, and the little bundle of joy you are purchasing for.”

Even though she lives in Pinson, Sharon makes the drive to Jasper six days a week—a trek that could take up to an hour and ten minutes—all so her grandchildren and the children of Walker County have a store exclusively for them.

So, the next time you're looking for children's clothes or accessories, swing by and let Sharon "get your free spirit on." 78
