Entrepreneur and Student at Dora High School

Young entrepreneur Micah Simes is already putting his best foot forward. Just a junior at Dora High School, Micah is the owner of Attention Detail, a pressure washing and car detailing business.

Between school and church, Micah says, business ownership can be difficult.

“My biggest challenge is time management,” he says. “I only have a few hours of daylight after school every day, so I’m always trying to fit my entire workday within those hours.”

Micah is currently training another young man to take over the business after he graduates high school. He plans to join the U.S. Air Force and eventually pursue a degree in engineering while channeling his entrepreneurial spirit into managing new businesses.

To stay grounded in his faith, Micah attends Sumiton Church of God. He attributes his previous success to the support of his church family.

“I’m a big churchgoer, and it’s really helped me grow spiritually and in maturity,” says Micah. “I wouldn’t be where I am without my mom, my family, and most importantly the Lord.” 78
