Finding My Home in Real Estate

I've always been a planner, but my career is the one area of my life that has been full of unexpected turns!

I graduated from Carbon Hill High School in 2019 and completed the Cosmetology program at Bevill State Community College in Sumiton in 2020. After a stint as a hair stylist, I realized it wasn't the right fit and joined my dad, Greg, and other family members at Artec Tractor and Equipment in Nauvoo in 2022.

After some time at Artec, my dad suggested I might excel in real estate sales. As a salesperson at Artec, I've honed my ability to understand people's needs, even when they struggle to express them. This skill translates seamlessly into real estate, where I strive to connect with clients on a personal level to uncover their true desires in buying or selling a home.

Encouraged by family friend Jeff Clark and my now boss, Justin Harbin, I earned my real estate license in March of 2023. Justin was instrumental in preparing me for my exam, which I passed on the first try. The learning continues with post-licensing courses and annual continuing education requirements.

Most of my clients are first-time, smaller home buyers, close to my age, and we navigate the complexities of real estate together. Despite the challenges of paperwork and the high stakes of real estate transactions, my background at Artec has equipped me with the communication skills essential for working in this field. Every transaction reinforces the importance of tailored communication and meticulous attention to detail.

Ultimately, real estate is more than just buying and selling property - it's about facilitating meaningful connections and helping people find a place they can truly call 'home.' Each client's journey is a unique story of finding their own space in the world, and I am passionate about being a part of that process. 1 am eager to see where this career will take me and the many more homes I will help transform into cherished spaces! 78
