30 Under 30- Daniel Perrin

Daniel’s Auto Detailing, based in Jasper, first began offering services in 2025. A year later, owner Daniel Perrin is still enjoying the work, but perhaps more importantly, the business already reflects a deeper way he approaches life.

“When I see a problem, I am willing to learn, adapt, and do the work to solve it well,” he says.

Daniel started washing cars as a side job to earn extra money, but soon after, a pivotal moment transformed it into his main source of income. A trip to an automated car wash left his vehicle scratched and a mirror broken. Instead of accepting that experience and moving on, Perrin beganfurther researching proper detailing techniques and practicing on his own car, then on the cars of neighbors and family members, and then those of the public.

“At first, I was making a little money from it, then word spread like wildfire and it grew from there,” he says.

With positive reviews and a growing customer base, Daniel’s Auto Detailing quickly took shape. Over the past year, Perrin has continued to grow the business, offering everything from basic details to full paint correction and ceramic coating.

Outside of the business, Perrin has stayed active in ways that further reflect his character. Over the past year, he has gone on a mission trip to Africa, attended the Walker County Center of Technology, led a weekly Bible study for students, and played drums and sang in the youth band. It is the kind of steady involvement that makes his work ethic feel less like a business trait and more like part of who he is.
