Philip Bailey, head coach of the Vikings’ football team, believes celebrating teachers is a tradition that should be continued for years to come.

The steady hum of stadium lights and the lingering smell of freshly cut grass is the calm before the storm on the Jasper Vikings’ football field. That storm has a name: Brodie Vinson.

Scott Myers, who serves as the Executive Director of the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame (ASHOF), will be speaking in Jasper on Tuesday, October 20 at 6 p.m in the Golden Viking Room (Fieldhouse) at Ki-Ro Gambrell Field.
