78 Featured Athletes—Emma Potts and Ashton Harper, Sumiton Christian

 Once again we return to Sumiton Christian to salute two outstanding student athletes—Emma Potts and Ashton Harper! Let’s meet them: 

Emma Potts 

Sophomore Emma Potts plays middle blocker/hitter for volleyball coach Kara Cashatt, and she plays post for Eagles’ basketball coach Andy Rice. She’s also involved in Beta Club, Praise Team, and Eagle Ambassadors. 

Emma has a 3.95 GPA and her favorite subject is English. 

After graduation, she plans to continue playing volleyball in college and further her academic studies. 

Emma’s parents are Jody and Emily Potts. 

Ashton Harper

Ashton is finishing up his junior year and it’s been a rather busy one. He plays wide receiver for football head coach David Powell and pitches for head baseball coach Lance Blair. 

Ashton is an Eagle Ambassador, maintains a 3.3 GPA, and his favorite subject is chemistry.

He plans to attend college after graduation. Ashton is the son of Pam Harper.
