Members of the community gathered on February 10 for the grand re-opening celebration for Sweet Mercy Salon.

Owned by Walker County native Jodi O'Neill, Sweet Mercy Salon moved from Airport Road to their new, larger location at 89 19th Street West in Downtown Jasper in late December.

The grand re-opening celebration included refreshments, product giveaways, children's activities from Charlotte's Inflatables, and a ribbon cutting hosted by Jasper Main Street.

"Our relocation is the manifestation of so many prayers. The Lord said that He was expanding us, and here we are today. It's just an overwhelming joy, and it's not anything I've done. It's what the Lord has done, and I want to be a vessel for Him every day," O'Neill says.

Sweet Mercy Salon is open Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and offers a full range of salon services for women and men, including haircuts, color, and styling, as well as esthetic services such as facials, dermaplaning, body waxing, and brow and lash maintenance. 78
