This quaint specialty store in Downtown Jasper has a lot to offer this holiday season. With

Thanksgiving and Christmas on the horizon, Libby’s This & That carries products that will help

you ring in the holidays and find the perfect gifts for those you love.

Libby and Scott Grimmett opened Libby’s This & That in November of 2019. Since then, the

store has provided an opportunity for the Jasper community to shop unique and high-quality

products. Many customers that visit Libby’s enjoy putting together gift baskets while they shop. The

store offers a wide variety of items so that customers are sure to find what they need.

“We carry a full line of jams, jellies, and ciders-those are some of my favorites,” says co-owner

Scott Grimmett. “All of those products are made in the North Georgia mountains at Hillside

Orchard Farms.”

Libby’s also carries many unique, handmade items such as signs, pottery, wreaths and quilts. A

customer favorite is the Northern Lights candle that is hand-painted and multipurpose.

During the holidays, many local businesses buy Priester’s Pecans products in bulk for customer

and client gifts.

“We carry a full line of Priester’s Pecans individual servings, cheese straws, and their one-

pound bag of pecans,” says Scott.

A Thanksgiving must-have is Priester’s 9-inch pies that are new in store and available in regular

or chocolate.

Mark your calendars! Libby’s is ringing in the holidays with a Christmas Open House on December 1st from12-6 p.m. Libby’s is offering a Christmas tree decorating service to customers this season that many in Walker County may benefit from.

“Most people don’t have the time to put up their indoor decorations on their Christmas trees, so

we visit homes and decorate,” says Jennifer Hubbard, Libby’s store manager. “We also help

people shop for new Christmas decorations if they are redoing their decor, too.”

For more information about this service and pricing, contact the store at (205) 295-5278 and ask to speak with Jennifer or Scott. Be sure to stop by this unique shop for all of your holiday needs this year!
