78 Featured Athletes – Kylee Trotter and Ryan George – Curry High School
As we continue our tour of Walker County, we make a stop at Curry High School for the week of November 15. Here, we find two exceptional student athletes, Kylee Trotter and Ryan George, who excel both in athletics and in the classroom. Let’s meet both of them.
Kylee Trotter
Senior Kylee Trotter may be an All-State outfielder for head coach Dave Lawson and the Yellow Jacket softball team, but with a 4.04 GPA, she is every bit as proficient in the classroom.
Kylee says her favorite subject is math and she participates in numerous school activities, including SGA, National Honor Society, Beta club, Peer Leader, and FBLA.
Her parents are Teresa Miller and Jamie Trotter, and she says her plans are to become a travel physical therapist after she graduates next May.
Ryan George
Curry head basketball coach Jason Johnsey is blessed to have a player like Ryan George on his roster. The senior forward not only brings a great attitude and hoops skills to the program, he represents the team well in the classroom with a 3.9 GPA.
The son of Brandy and Mark George, Ryan is a member of the National Honor Society and FFA and says he wants to continue his basketball career at the college level.
Please congratulate Kylee and Ryan for being the 78 Magazine Featured Athletes for the week of November 15! 78
