Q: Tell us a little about your background.

A: I was born and raised in Jasper, Alabama. I graduated from Walker High School in 1979.

After graduating high school, I was the warehouse manager at Walker Regional Medical Center. I then became a licensed Master Cosmetologist. I opened my own business and was the owner of New Identity Hair Salon in Jasper for 10 years.

After working in cosmetology, I was the retail manager for Advance Auto Parts and Dollar General for 4 years. I have now been in the car industry for 17 years. I have been married for 31 years to my wife, Clara Dill, who is a nurse. I have 3 kids: Whitney, Simone, and Ryan.

Q: How did you get into the car business?

A: I was unable to attend church on Sundays while working in the retail business and I knew car dealerships were closed on Sundays. My dad worked on cars and was a vehicle wholesaler and I had an interest in cars from always being around them.

Q: How many years have you been with Honda of Jasper? 

A: I have been with Honda of Jasper for 7 years.

Q: What is your favorite thing about working at the dealership?

A: My favorite part about working at Honda of Jasper is the customers and the relationships I have built with customers and seeing them happy and satisfied.

 
 

Q: What is great about a Honda product?

A: Honda products are dependable, reliable, and an overall safe vehicle.

Q: What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?

A: I enjoy spending time with my family and my granddaughter. I enjoy watching sports. I enjoy taking vacations and trips with my family.

Q: If you weren’t selling cars, what would you be doing?

A: I would have to still be doing a career that involves people and helping people find what they need.

Q: What is one movie you wish you could have been a cast member in?

A: Coming to America.

Q: What is the one thing that people should know about you?

A: I am caring and reliable. I always try to do right by others and treat others how I would want to be treated and want my loved ones to be treated. 78
