Brandon Heck is a “country” guy, who loves hunting, fishing and being outdoors. Those are some of the reasons he is passionate about his job as assistant manager at Tractor Supply Company in Jasper.

“I started out at the store working evenings while I was in college,” he said. “The opportunity came about for me to be a manager, so I jumped on it, and now I have worked up to being the assistant manager, and I love it. The work environment is good and I love the customers.”

Born in Starkville, Mississippi, Heck, 24, spent most of his life growing up in the town of Lynn in Winston County. He graduated from Lynn High School in 2016.

“Throughout the years, I always played baseball and football. I loved being part of a team. That’s another thing I like about my job at Tractor Supply,” Heck said.

After high school, Heck went to Bevill State Community College where he received a machining degree and served as a Bevill State Ambassador.

“It was a fun time,” he says.

Heck said he hopes to open his own store one day, possibly in Walker County. He gives all the credit for his success to his family and friends.

“I would like to thank my family and friends for always pushing me to be the best I can be,” he said. 78
